I’m a Canadian copywriter, content marketer and strategist living in London.

I create and market B2B content that isn't boring, fantasize about removing the words "leverage" and "cutting-edge" from SaaS companies' website copy, and drink too much coffee.

After graduating McGill University in Montréal with a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science, I took a full-time job in sales at a tech start up, because having money at 21 sounded pretty nifty and my mom thought stock options were a good idea.

My startup sales career continued for the next five years, and while I loved #startuplife and finding wacky ways to explain the benefits of SaaS to people over the phone and email, something was missing.

A raging quarter life crisis only intensified this apathy about working in sales, and I chose enrolling in a professional development course on digital content and community management over exploring law.

After finding myself up at 2 AM gleefully working on blog posts for my classes with absolutely no clue where the time had gone, it hit me that the elusive fulfilment that only a 25 year old can dream of was to be found in making writing my job.

7 years and a move across the pond later, that revelation is still true.

Life for most of us is a bit of a sh*tslide right now. What keeps me going as a writer is making this disappear through moments of clarity, humour and weird analogies (e.g. comparing omnichannel shopping to baking choco-choco-chip cookies).

Whether your audience is B2B or B2C, they’re still people. Content that intrigues, inspires and makes people go CLICKY CLICK on the button you want them to speaks to that.

That’s my goal with everything I write.

When I'm not at work, you can find me in the climbing gym, dangling off the side of a cliff somewhere in the UK, or going for absurdly long runs.
